What is the difference between a "Bumper-to-Bumper" and a "Powertrain" warranty?
A Bumper-to-Bumper warranty is the most comprehensive, covering almost everything between the front and rear bumpers (excluding "wear and tear" items like tires or brake pads). A Powertrain warranty is more limited but lasts longer, covering only the essential components that make the car move, such as the engine, transmission, and drive axles.
Does a warranty cover regular maintenance like oil changes?
Generally, no. Most standard warranties do not cover routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, or fluid flushes. In fact, failing to perform this maintenance can actually void your warranty, as the provider may argue that the mechanical failure was caused by neglect rather than a defect.
What is an Extended Warranty (Service Contract)?

What is "Roadside Assistance" in a warranty?
Many modern auto warranties include a Roadside Assistance perk.
